Mount Emei, one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains in China, is renowned for its deep historical and spiritual significance. The scenic area is divided into three regions based on altitude: low, middle, and high. The lower region, below the Qingyin Pavilion, is characterized by dense vegetation and a mild climate similar to the plains. The middle region, extending from Qingyin Pavilion to the Xiangchi Pool, is home to several temples. The high region, above Xiangchi Pool, is cooler and home to towering ancient trees, offering a more serene and tranquil atmosphere.

Major attractions include temples such as Baoguo Temple, Fuhu Temple, and Qingyin Pavilion, as well as scenic spots like Hongchunping, the Ninety-Nine Bends, and the Golden Summit.

There are two main ways to explore Mount Emei: hiking or taking a vehicle. Hiking the entire mountain takes about 2 to 3 days, while traveling by vehicle is more relaxed and can be done in 2 days, allowing you to see the classic sights comfortably.
