Summer Palace and Beijing Hutong Private Day Tour

After visiting the Summer Palace, you will have the opportunity to visit the Silk Art Exhibition Hall for a 20-minute hands-on experience of Chinese craftsmanship. After lunch, we will take you to the historic Beijing Hutong district to stroll through the narrow streets and alleys known as “Hutong”. The word “Hutong” originates from the Mongolian word for “well”, and today refers to these unique neighborhoods. As Beijing rapidly modernizes, many Hutongs are being replaced by modern buildings, making this visit a special opportunity to learn about the traditional life and culture of this city. The Hutongs are an important part of Beijing’s cultural heritage, providing a window into the city’s rich history.
Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, ensuring a comfortable and smooth end to your day of exploration.
