Half Day Mutianyu Great Wall Private Tour
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel around 8:00 AM (or any other time of your choice) to start a day of adventure and exploration. We will head to the majestic Mutianyu Great Wall. On the way, you will have the opportunity to visit a jade carving factory, learn about the exquisite stone carving art, and if you wish, you can also stop by for shopping.
Mutianyu Great Wall is famous for its breathtaking scenery, dense forests and lush pastures that change colors with the seasons. This section of the Great Wall is located in Huairou County, northeast of Beijing, about 75 kilometers from the city center. As one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall, Mutianyu Great Wall was once an important northern barrier to defend the capital and the emperor’s tombs. If you are adventurous, you can take a cable car to the highest point to enjoy even more magnificent views (optional).
After touring the Great Wall, we will enjoy a delicious traditional Chinese lunch at a lovely local restaurant.
After lunch, we will return to Beijing city center and transfer you to your hotel around 4:00 PM.
