Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace Prviate Day Tour
We will pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled departure time (8am) and drive to the Temple of Heaven. Spend approximately 2 hours exploring this magnificent site located south of Beijing. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998, the Temple of Heaven covers an area of 2.7 million square meters and is the largest temple in China. Built in 1420 during the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty, the temple was where the emperors offered sacrifices to heaven and prayed for a good harvest. Enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, spend approximately 45 minutes visiting a pearl factory, where you can learn about the fascinating pearl farming process and pick up a beautiful souvenir
Next, visit the Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in the world. Spend an hour and a half admiring its concentration of architectural masterpieces and beauty, including the famous Long Corridor and Marble Boat. Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel, concluding your wonderful exploration.
