Half Day Badaling Great Wall Private Tour

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel at around 8:00 AM (or any other time of your choice) and drive you 1.5 hours to the foot of Badaling Great Wall.
The Great Wall of China is one of the most outstanding wonders of the world, as famous as the Egyptian pyramids, the Taj Mahal in India, and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. It stretches for 12,700 kilometers and is known as the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall winds between mountains and crosses five provinces and two autonomous regions, connecting the northern regions of China.
As a cultural heritage, the Great Wall belongs not only to China but also to the world. According to the Venice Charter, “historical and cultural buildings include not only man-made buildings, but also urban or rural environments that bear witness to a particular civilization, a major social development or a historical event.” The Great Wall is a prime example of such buildings and continues to attract tourists from all over the world. In 1987, UNESCO listed the Great Wall as a World Cultural Heritage.

After a 3-hour tour of the Great Wall, you will enjoy a 40-minute lunch at a local Chinese restaurant.

After lunch, we will visit a jade carving factory for a 45-minute tour. This factory showcases renowned Chinese craftsmanship, combining top carving techniques with traditional Chinese culture – definitely not to be missed. Afterwards, we will return to the hotel.
