After a good night’s sleep, start a new day of bamboo rafting. A great way to enjoy the countryside and tranquility is to sit on a non-motorized raft driven by a boatman and travel along the Yulong River.
Your private guide and driver will drop you off at Yangshuo Railway Station. Rest during the relaxing 1.5-hour journey. Your Guizhou guide will pick you up at Congjiang Railway Station and help you check in at your hotel.

Rural people living in the mountains have limited resources, but they have ways to make a living: such as making paper from wood pulp. Visit a village where people still continue their ancestors’ papermaking industry to this day.
Learn how to make a piece of paper step by step from a respected expert. Under the guidance of an experienced natural paper maker, use your imagination to make unique paper crafts with your own hands.
Enjoy lunch at a farmer’s house, made with fresh local ingredients. Then visit a small and primitive village, famous for its dustpan-like shape. Take a stroll along the bluestone paths and get a close look at the daily life of ethnic minorities.

The village you will visit this morning is quite special.
Villagers have different styles of dress. Women used to join the army and their outfits are still similar to military uniforms. They are also famous for their batik craftsmanship. Villagers hang a pair of dyed cloth on their doors instead of the usual couplets written on red paper.
You will have the opportunity to walk into the dyeing workshop and learn how to make exquisite batik cloth. Participate in the batik cloth making process.
After lunch, visit another special Miao village, famous for its women’s gorgeous miniskirt costumes and unique and creative century-old way of storing food.
