The Nanshan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area—often referred to simply as "Nanshan Bamboo Sea"—is located at the southeastern tip of Liyang City, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, in the People's Republic of China. It serves as a component of the Tianmu Lake Scenic Area, which is designated as a National 5A-level tourist attraction. The scenic area centers on themes of natural landscapes and local folk culture. It derives its name from the fact that locals refer to the southern mountain ranges as "Nanshan" (Southern Mountains), which are covered in vast, continuous bamboo forests. Situated south of Lijiayuan Village in Daibu Town, Liyang City, the area borders Yixing City to the east and faces Guangde County in Anhui Province across the mountains. It lies at the northern foothills of the Yixing-Liyang mountain range and spans an area of over 3 square kilometers.
Development of the Nanshan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area began in 2000. Following major upgrades and renovations in 2004 and 2011, it has become an integral part of the National 5A-level Tianmu Lake Scenic Area.
