Our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at around 8:00 AM to start your day with a warm welcome. Afterwards, we will take a two-hour scenic drive to Gubei Water Town. Gubei Water Town is located at the foot of the majestic Simatai Great Wall, and is a clever blend of mountains, rivers and ancient buildings. Here, you can explore the cultural street that showcases traditional Chinese crafts and feel the peaceful atmosphere of this historic town.

We will head to Simatai Great Wall. This section of the Great Wall has only been partially restored and is well preserved and authentic. It is famous for its five major features: “dangerous, dense, strange, clever, and strange”. These features make Simatai Great Wall a unique and fascinating section of the Great Wall. We will drop you back to your hotel at around 6:00 PM, ending a day full of magnificent scenery and rich cultural experiences.
