Mutianyu Great Wall , Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City 1 Day Private Tour
We will pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled departure time and set off to spend an unforgettable day exploring some of China’s most iconic sites.
Our first stop is Mutianyu Great Wall, which is about 60 miles from the center of Beijing. The drive takes about one hour. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its stunning scenery and is a must-see attraction. If you want to climb to the highest point and enjoy the breathtaking bird’s-eye view, taking a cable car is a great option. You will have two hours to explore this breathtaking section of the Great Wall.
Before lunch, we will visit a jade carving factory for 45 minutes. Here, you will learn why jade carving is a precious local craft that is not only highly regarded for its artistic excellence, but also for its deep connotation in Chinese traditional culture.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
We will head to Tiananmen Square and you will have about 30 minutes to explore this vast and historic public square. From there, we will walk directly into the Forbidden City. You will spend two hours touring this magnificent palace complex, also known as the Palace Museum. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient royal residence in China, giving you a glimpse into the country’s rich history.
After a day filled with unforgettable experiences, we will drive you back to your hotel.
