Mutianyu Great Wall, Ming Tombs (Changling) Private Day Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel at the designated time (8am) and head to the Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs are one of the best-preserved imperial tombs in China, with a rich history of more than 500 years. You will visit Changling, the largest and most significant of the Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle and Empress Xu are buried.
At around 11:15am, we will end our visit to the Tombs and head to the Jade Carving Factory for a 45-minute tour. Here, you will learn why jade carving is so revered locally, combining exquisite craftsmanship with deep-rooted Chinese cultural traditions. Afterwards, we will enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a nearby restaurant.
We will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, where you will have two hours to explore this amazing section of the Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall is famous for its picturesque forests and lush pastures, whose colors change with the seasons, which is breathtaking. The Great Wall winds for more than 1,000 meters to the top of the mountain before dropping dramatically to form the unique ox-horn wall.
After a day full of history and beauty, we will drive you back to your hotel.
