Badaling Great Wall & Temple of Heaven Private Day Tour
Our guide and driver will pick you up at 8am in the morning at the hotel lobby, ready to take you on an unforgettable adventure. We will drive 1.5 hours along the scenic route to the Badaling Great Wall. The Badaling Great Wall is the most iconic section of the Great Wall and a national cultural treasure protected by the State Council since 1961. Here, you can choose to take a cable car to the highest point and get a bird’s eye view of the majestic scenery (optional). Spend a few hours exploring this wonder of ancient engineering, walking along the well-preserved trails and feeling the rich history contained in each stone.
Before lunch, we will stop at Fulaide Yongsheng Jade Carving Factory for 20 minutes. Jade carving is a famous Chinese art form that combines exquisite craftsmanship with profound cultural heritage. You can witness the exquisite craftsmanship firsthand, admire the exquisite works, and even pick up a unique souvenir.
After a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, we will return to Beijing. The next stop is to visit and experience Chinese Silk Art for 20 minutes. Silk is one of China’s most outstanding contributions to the world of textiles, renowned for its luxurious touch and elegant look. Explore the fascinating silk production process and admire the exquisite craftsmanship that goes into making these beautiful fabrics.
Finally, we will visit the magnificent Temple of Heaven, spending 1.5 hours exploring this magnificent site. The largest ancient royal sacrificial complex in the world, the Temple of Heaven was once a sacred place where emperors prayed for good harvests and divine blessings. Its majestic architecture and tranquil gardens make it a must-see landmark in Beijing.
At the end of our eventful day, we will drop you off at your hotel, leaving you with fond memories of Beijing’s historical and cultural treasures.
