Frequently asked questions by photographers

What level of photography experience do I need?
All levels are welcome. Beginners receive more hands-on guidance; advanced photographers get tips on creative composition and advanced techniques. Our goal is to help you improve no matter your starting point.
What camera gear should I bring?
A DSLR or mirrorless camera with a wide-angle lens (16-35mm) and a telephoto zoom (70-200mm) is ideal. A sturdy tripod is essential for sunrise/sunset and night shots. We provide a detailed gear list after booking.
Can I fly a drone during the tour?
Yes, at most locations where drone flights are legal. We will advise on local regulations and assist with any permits needed (e.g., Tibet requires special permission). Some areas like national parks restrict drones; we plan alternative compositions.
What about bad weather?
We have backup locations and indoor workshops (editing, critique). In some cases, overcast or rain creates unique moody images. If conditions are impossible, we offer a partial refund or reschedule option.
Do you offer post-processing tutorials?
Absolutely. After the tour, we host three online sessions covering Lightroom and Photoshop techniques specific to the images you captured. You’ll receive raw files from the guide’s camera to practice on as well.

★★★★★ “Small group of 5 made it intimate. We learned more about night photography at the Great Wall than in years of solo practice. Highly recommended.” – Priya, India
★★★★★ “Tibet photo tour was life-changing. The guide helped me with settings at 5,000m. Post-trip editing sessions were the cherry on top.” – Johan, Netherlands
