Frequently asked questions

Do I need any previous skills for the workshops?
None at all! Our workshops are designed for beginners. The cooking class, tea ceremony, and calligraphy are all welcoming and fun – you’ll leave with a new skill and great memories.
Are the tours suitable for vegetarians or food allergies?
Absolutely. In cooking classes we customise the menu. Most local families we visit can easily prepare vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or halal meals. Just let us know in advance.
What is the group size for cultural tours?
We keep groups small to maintain authentic interactions: typically 6 to 12 travelers. If you prefer a private cultural tour, we can arrange that as well.
Can I combine two tours or extend my stay?
Yes. Many guests extend in Chengdu or Guilin for extra relaxation. We’ll help you customise the itinerary with no extra planning fees.
How do I pay for a cultural group tour?
We accept credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. All payments are secured and you will receive a detailed invoice. The final balance is due 30 days before departure.
