Travel Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Lhasa Capital International Airport , your dedicated tour guide will greet you outside the baggage claim area. During the transfer to your pre-booked four or five-star hotel in the city center, your guide will share insights about Lhasa’s rich history and key landmarks. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this fascinating city at your own pace.

In the morning, visit the Potala Palace. This magnificent palace is a symbol of Tibetan politics, religion and culture. Visiting the Potala Palace, you can feel the magnificence of traditional Tibetan architecture and the weight of history. Then visit the Jokhang Temple, an important temple of Tibetan Buddhism, which is a holy place in the hearts of Tibetans.

Visit Drepung Monastery, which is one of the three major temples in Tibet. The murals and Buddha statues in the temple are breathtaking. Continue to visit Sera Monastery, which is one of the famous temples in Tibet. It is rich in Tibetan Buddhist characteristics and is a good place to experience Tibetan culture and beliefs.

Visit Yamdrok Lake. This holy lake is called “Mapang Yongcuo”. The lake water is clear and surrounded by mountains. It is a good place for photography and praying. Passing by Dangxiong Grassland, you can enjoy the beauty of the grassland and feel the vast natural scenery.

Today, visit Yongbulakang, which is an important attraction in Lhasa and one of the birthplaces of Tibetan Buddhism. You can have a deep understanding of Tibetan culture and religion. After the five-day trip, return to Lhasa City, participate in the evening circumambulation activities, and feel the religious atmosphere of Lhasa.

Nyingchi City is the political, economic and cultural center of Nyingchi area, with a strong Tibetan style. You can visit the local urban area, visit Suosong Village, and experience the local Tibetan folk customs and architectural style. Taste local food in the urban area and experience the rhythm of life in Nyingchi.

In the morning, go to Namjagbarwa Peak. This majestic and sacred snow-capped mountain is surrounded by clouds all year round and is a holy place for photographers and climbers. Then visit the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, enjoy the rushing river, and feel the magic of nature.

Go to Basongcuo, this sacred lake is known as the “No. 1 Holy Lake in Tibet”. The lake water is clear and surrounded by mountains. It is a good place to purify the soul. Then visit Lulang Forest. This primitive forest environment is well preserved and the ancient trees are towering. It is an excellent place to experience nature and humanity.

In the season when peach blossoms are in full bloom, go to Taohuagou, stroll in the sea of flowers, feel the breath of spring, and take pictures of beautiful spring scenery.
After the visit, return with full of memories and wonderful experiences, you will be transferred to Lhasa International Airport to take a flight back home or to your next destination in China.
