Upon your arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) or Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), your dedicated tour guide will greet you outside the baggage claim area. During the transfer to your pre-booked four or five-star hotel in the city center, your guide will share insights about Beijing’s rich history and key landmarks. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this fascinating city at your own pace.

Today is a journey of exploration of Chinese history and culture. First, take a short tour of Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest city square. Then head to the Forbidden City, the world’s largest and most complete ancient imperial palace. You will learn how the royal family lived in the palace and how the emperors worked here in the past. Arrange an authentic Chinese lunch in a cozy restaurant. Then we head to the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon, where you may see many local elderly people playing cards, Chinese chess, exercising, dancing, singing, etc. At the end of the journey, we will send you to the hotel lobby, and we will stop at a tea shop on the way.

Today is an exciting day to visit the Great Wall with your family and children. In the morning, pick you up from the hotel lobby. After driving for about 1.5-2 hours, we arrive at the highlight of today – Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the famous sections of the Great Wall of China. It is an award-winning scenic spot in TA and is very popular with foreign tourists. You need to walk about 10 minutes from the park through a shopping street to the shuttle station. The shuttle ride is about 5 minutes, and we reach the entrance and the cable car/midway station after a short walk. Then you will have an unforgettable time on the Great Wall. In China, people say that those who don’t go to the Great Wall are not heroes. Today you are all heroes! You can choose to visit the Great Wall by round-trip cable car, or you can choose to take a one-way cable car up the mountain and take a sled down the mountain (cable car included). The sled looks like a long slide, which is fun and exciting. Your children may like it.

After the visit, we will arrange lunch and rest for your family at a cozy country restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. Then drive back to the city center, stopping at a jade carving factory on the way. We will briefly visit the exterior of the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube. If you are interested, you can choose Peking duck as an optional dinner for tonight.

In the morning, we will take your family and children to visit the Beijing Zoo, including the Panda Pavilion. Breakfast time is the most active time for giant pandas. I believe you and your children will fall in love with this cute little animal. Then it is Hutong Family Time, where your family will enjoy a very local Beijing cultural experience. First, we will take a rickshaw tour of the Hutong to explore the Hutong, where the locals live. We will visit a local family and have a typical Chinese family lunch there. If you are interested, you and your children can learn and experience how to make Chinese dumplings. After an unforgettable family lunch in the Hutong, we arrange for you and your children to learn to make up and make facial makeup. This is a good opportunity to learn about traditional Chinese opera culture and will also be a fun thing to do on your trip to China. We will arrange leisure activities for your family. In the morning, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the northwest of Beijing to continue visiting the Summer Palace – the most beautiful royal garden in China, and you will take a boat tour with your children. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight to your next destination.
