Travel Itinerary
Your private guide and driver will pick you up from downtown Chengdu and drive you to Li County after a 3-hour drive. Explore Bipenggou, which features classic alpine landscapes including pristine forests, plateau lakes, snow-capped mountains, dingdong streams, and pristine meadows. Bipenggou is a year-round destination with different views in different seasons, but spring is the best time to enjoy the flowers. After the tour, we will head to Maerkang and stay overnight.

Visit Jinchuangou, enjoy the pear blossoms, take photos, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Explore Jiaju Tibetan Village, which is famous for its beauty and well-preserved Tibetan culture. Enjoy a Tibetan hot pot dinner and stay overnight in Jiaju Tibetan Village.

Explore Huiyuan Temple, the only royal temple outside of Tibet before modern times. It is overlooked by tourists but contains pure Tibetan culture and art. Visit the vast Tagong Grassland and enjoy the local scenery on horseback. Tagong Grassland is the most famous and beautiful grassland in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Overnight in the picturesque Tibetan town of Xinduqiao.

Enter China’s only well-preserved plateau wetland national reserve, which focuses on the protection and sustainable development of the ecological environment and preserves its original natural features. Then we will drive you to Dujiangyan to enjoy the magnificent scenery.

Continue to explore the Tagong Grassland, wake up in the morning to the sweetness of spring on the plateau In the afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport to take your flight home and end this trip.

The pear blossom season in Jinchuangou is from mid-March to early April, and the azalea season in Bipenggou is in May. No matter which month of spring you visit, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Spend the night in an idyllic Tibetan village and experience Tibetan culture：
Jiaju Tibetan Village, named “China’s Most Beautiful Village” by National Geographic China in 2005, is a typical and richest representative of Jiarong Tibetan culture.
Travel the vast Tagong grassland on horseback：
Tour Tagong on horseback like a local. Admire the snow-capped Yala Mountains, the magnificent golden Paduga, and the charming grasslands. The Yala Mountain area has spectacular scenery for you to enjoy.
Explore the only Tibetan royal temple in Ganzi：
Huiyuan Temple, built in 1728, is a prime example of Kham (the southeastern third of the medieval Tibetan kingdom) art, with many precious cultural relics and one of the main sacrificial sites for Sichuan Tibetans.
Take a stroll through the picturesque Bipenggou and breathe in the purer spring air：
Bipenggou is at a higher altitude, so spring arrives later than other places at 30°N. Enjoy the stunning alpine scenery with colorful flowers, pristine forests, and snow-capped peaks.

- This is a small group tour with a fixed itinerary and guaranteed departures.
You will travel with other people (maximum of 12). - Smart casual dress and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- The tour guide may adjust the itinerary due to closure of the museums each Monday.
- At the conclusion of the tour, a transfer from your hotel to Hongqiao or Pudong Airport in Shanghai is available upon request at a surcharge.
