Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture is an autonomous prefecture in Sichuan Province, China. It is located in the northwest of Sichuan and is one of the important birthplaces of Tibetan and Qiang culture. The prefecture capital is located in the small city of Barkam. Aba Prefecture is famous for its magnificent natural scenery, colorful ethnic customs and unique Tibetan Buddhist culture.
Jiuzhaigou, located in the south of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, is one of the famous scenic spots in China and is known as “paradise on earth”. Jiuzhaigou is famous for its colorful lakes, waterfalls, snow-capped mountains and virgin forests. It is a natural ecological protection area and a world natural heritage site.
The cities in Aba Prefecture and Jiuzhaigou area are full of unique Tibetan and Qiang cultural atmosphere. Tourists can explore nature and feel culture here. It is also a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
This package includes accommodation in a top four-star or five-star hotel, daily breakfast, an English-speaking local guide, all transportation services, and customized experience options. This is an ideal introduction to China for first-time travelers brought to you by Hello China Trip.
Travel Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our local guide and driver, who will then take you to your Jiuzhaigou hotel, 88 km (55 miles) away, a 2-hour drive.

To have more time to enjoy the park and avoid the crowds, you will need to set off early to explore Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, a wonderland named after the nine Tibetan villages.
You will visit the three major valleys of Jiuzhaigou: Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley, where clear alpine lakes, cascading waterfalls, colorful forests, white snow, and blue ice and snow await you.
Private cars are not allowed, so your guide will expertly guide you to take the shuttle bus within the scenic area and visit the surrounding areas. There are various restaurants in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, and your guide will recommend suitable places for you to eat. If you wish, we can arrange a picnic lunch.

Note: If the activity attraction is closed on the day, the itinerary may be adjusted.
After breakfast, take a 2-hour bus ride from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong Scenic Area. Huanglong Valley has one of the three largest travertine lake terraces in the world. Five-color pools, snow-capped peaks, verdant forests, and tranquil valleys are the four highlights of Huanglong.
In order to save your energy and time, we will arrange a cable car to the top of the valley, and then walk down the valley to enjoy the surrounding beauty. After about 3-4 hours of sightseeing in the valley, we will leave the park and enjoy a local lunch outdoors.
After the tour, the tour guide will accompany you to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport or Railway Station to the next destination. In order to leave enough time to visit Huanglong, it is recommended to take a flight departing after 5 pm.

Jiuzhaigou Park is so large that it is difficult to visit all of its attractions in one day. However, with our professional guides, you can visit the most beautiful parts of Jiuzhaigou’s three main valleys at your own pace.
Fly over the streams, waterfalls, and limestone landscapes of the Huanglong Scenic Area：
Take the cable car to the top of Huanglong Valley, then hike down to get a close look at the beautiful travertine lake terraces.

- Stays at entering and exiting cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei) can be extended.

- This is a small group tour with a fixed itinerary and guaranteed departures.
You will travel with other people (maximum of 12). - Smart casual dress and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- The tour guide may adjust the itinerary due to closure of the museums each Monday.
- At the conclusion of the tour, a transfer from your hotel to Hongqiao or Pudong Airport in Shanghai is available upon request at a surcharge.
- Stays at entering and exiting cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei) can be extended.
