Guangzhou, referred to as “Sui”, is the capital of Guangdong Province, China, excluding Nansha District. It is a city with a long history, prosperous culture and prosperous economy, blending the charm of ancient and modern, and is one of the cities not to be missed in southern China.
A trip to Guangzhou will take you to experience the wonderful experience of Chinese culture, architecture and history – from ancient wonders to modern life, these experiences often coexist. Iconic highlights immerse visitors in China’s lifestyle and development dynamics.
Travel Itinerary
The guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel to start the day with a visit to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. You will gain insight into the Chinese respect for family and ancestors in this large temple complex with cultural significance. European architectural styles can be seen everywhere in the tree-lined residences of Shamian Island near the Pearl River, which is a great place for a walk and tea. The Mausoleum of the Nanyue King is the next attraction. The museum houses the tomb of the Nanyue King and exhibits exquisite artifacts unearthed from all over southern China.
Yuexiu Park across the road is a good place to take a walk and change your mood. The last stop of the day is the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, an octagonal palace-style building built in the 1930s to commemorate the great revolutionary Sun Yat-sen. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is one of Guangzhou’s landmark buildings. There is a statue of Sun Yat-sen and an octagonal main building in the park. It covers a large area, is shaded by ancient trees, and has beautiful gardens.
The tour ends at approximately 5:00 PM, when you will be transferred back to your hotel.

- Stays at entering and exiting cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei) can be extended.

- This is a small group tour with a fixed itinerary and guaranteed departures.
You will travel with other people (maximum of 12). - Smart casual dress and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- The tour guide may adjust the itinerary due to closure of the museums each Monday.
- At the conclusion of the tour, a transfer from your hotel to Hongqiao or Pudong Airport in Shanghai is available upon request at a surcharge.
- Stays at entering and exiting cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei) can be extended.
