I was worried a 5-day express tour would feel too rushed, but I was so impressed by how well-planned this itinerary was. We had just enough time at each stop to soak in the views and explore, without spending too many hours on the bus between locations. Guiyang’s bustling night market was a fantastic first stop that gave me a great introduction to Guizhou’s incredible food culture. The emerald green waters of Libo are unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and the cultural experience in Xijiang felt genuine and respectful of local traditions. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Guizhou on a tight schedule.

As a time-crunched traveler with only one week of vacation in China, this 5-day tour was exactly what I was looking for. Elean from HelloChinaTrip adjusted our start time when my incoming train to Guiyang was delayed, making the whole trip completely stress-free. The natural scenery in Libo was even more stunning than the photos I’d seen online, and learning about traditional Miao culture in Xijiang felt authentic, not overly touristy. I left already planning my next trip back to Guizhou to explore more of this incredible region.

Guizhou is such an underrated travel destination in China, and this tour hits all of its best spots. The itinerary was perfectly paced even for a 5-day quick trip, and our local guide took us to a tiny family restaurant that served the best sour fish soup I’ve ever had. I loved wandering the quiet terraced rice fields around Zhaoxing Dong Village, it was such a peaceful escape from city life.

I loved every stop on this well-organized itinerary, from Guiyang’s delicious street food to Zhaoxing’s charming wooden stilt houses. Constant rain during my visit blocked the mountain views I was most excited to see, so I’m knocking off one star, but I’d still recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
